WE WON!!! Ringling Bros. Circus Closed in May, 2017!!!

Although Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has closed, we still leave up the information below about our efforts to bring that about. Other circuses continue which also abuse their animals and, especially, torture their elephants. All animal circuses should be ended.

The Circus Campaign

Circus abuse of elephants is largely hidden behind the Big Top. Our circus campaigns seek to educate the public about this hidden abuse with the hope that an enlightened and compassionate public will no longer tolerate it.

The path to an elephant-free circus future starts with public education.

Hunger Strike

When the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus was in town, I went on a 12 day water only Hunger Strike to bring awareness to the abuse of elephants in the circus industry. Ringling Bros. had 18 performances in 12 days and I was present in a cage and in chains at all of them.

EXTRA! EXTRA! Read ALL About It!

The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus returned in September of 2023 with lots of wonderful amazing acts, magic, music and astounding acrobatics! WITH NO ANIMALS!!! Yeah! I am delighted! I hope all circuses will follow suit.
